The Holocaust and the Misdirected Criticism of a Brazilian Jew against Conservatives in Europe and America

Today is the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, when the world stops to remember the Holocaust and its victims: 6 million Jews murdered by Nazis.

Osias Wurman, who is the honorary consul of Israel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, rightly said, “If a rebuilt Jewish State had existed, in the 1930-40s, this genocide would have never been accomplished.”

Then he added, in the Brazilian newspaper O Globo:

“Today, more than ever, it is necessary to warn the world public opinion about the dangerous change of course rightward that has been ravaging Europe and some nations in the American continent. A global poll, held in 2014, found that 46% respondents had never heard about the Holocaust!”

Mr. Wurman makes an impossible comparison. He seeks to equalize the conservative change of political course in Europe and probably in the United States with indifference to the Holocaust. In a worse tone, he has said that this change is “dangerous,” and he talks about the need to warn the world against the change rightward that is “ravaging” Europe and probably the United States.

In fact, the same left-wing militants who see “danger” in the rightward change have been accusing U.S. President Donald Trump of being Adolf Hitler. Do all the Jews agree with the Left? No. In an interviewto WND (WorldNetDaily), Anita Dittman, who lived through the Holocaust as a Jewish girl in Germany during the 1930s and 1940s, has a message for those who think Trump is the American Hitler, on this International Holocaust Remembrance Day. “When they say he is another Hitler, they are crazy,” Dittman told WND.

Mr. Wurman seems to support the Left. But the European and American Left has consistently opposed the State of Israel. If, as Mr. Wurman implies, the existence of the State of Israel is important to avoid a Jewish genocide, it follows that the Left wants such genocide.

Meanwhile, the “dangerous” conservative change, especially energized by evangelicals, brought Donald Trump, who has clearly shown his support to Israel. In fact, some months ago, the Sanhedrim asked Trump and Putin, who is also a conservative, to rebuild the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.

The Sanhedrim would never be comfortable at making the same request to left-wing leaders.

By helping rebuild the Temple, would Trump and Putin be encouraging people to forget the Holocaust? What “ravages” and “dangers” could their conservative actions bring?

I concede that there are some individuals in the Right who adhere to dangerous and even anti-Jewish stances, even if discreetly. In Brazil, where Mr. Wurman lives, some quarters of the Right have been influenced by an esotericist who is anti-Marxist and an advocate of the strange idea that the Inquisition was a myth and legend. He denies the Inquisition in the same way Muslims and neo-Nazis deny the Holocaust.

Hitler, whose political propaganda was anti-Marxist, was seen as “right-wing,” but actually he was an esotericist who would have had no difficulty to deny the Inquisition.

Yet, Mr. Wurman has not exposed or denounced the Inquisition advocacy in the Brazilian Right. He has occupied himself with fanciful threats: he has denounced the alleged danger of a Right in America that is supporting Israel!

Trump has a Jewish son-in-law and he has been a friend of Israel. So Mr. Wurman’s disturbed criticism is misdirected. It should not be directed indirectly to Trump and other conservatives. It should be directed to leftists in Europe and America, who are helping the Islamic invasion in their nations, at the expense of the security of the Jewish citizens, because most Muslims hate Jews and love Hitler. Mein Kampf, Hitler’s autobiography, is a bestseller in Islamic nations in the Middle East.

And Mr. Wurman’s disturbed criticism should be directed to deniers of the Inquisition, because to deny the Inquisition is like to deny the Holocaust. It is to deny that Jews were innocent victims of systematic persecution, torture and murder.

There is no justification for Mr. Wurman to accuse indirectly Trump or other conservatives, who are being attacked by the Left.

But there is much justification for him to accuse rightists whose pro-Inquisition stances are not lambasted by the Left and the Right.

God Is Good to Israel: How Providence Hindered Franklin Roosevelt from Hindering the Birth of the Modern State of Israel

In poor health two months before his death, U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt met with King Abdul Aziz ibn Saud, the founder of Saudi Arabia, on the USS Quincy in the Suez Canal. Later, on April 5, 1945, Roosevelt wrote to King Abdul promising that as long as he was president, the United States would never recognize a Jewish state: “I communicated to you the attitude of the American government toward Palestine … that no decision be taken. … I assured you that I would take no action, in my capacity as Chief of the Executive … with regard to the question of Palestine … the policy of this government … is unchanged.” (As reported by Bill Federer in WorldNetDaily.)

Within a week of making this promise, the ailing Roosevelt died. Even so, the U.S. was not the first nation to recognize Israel. The first country to do it was the Soviet Union.

Roosevelt wanted no U.S. role in the birth of the modern State of Israel. In fact, he wanted the U.S. to prevent the birth.

Yet, his public speeches did not mirror his private talks to Saudi dictators. On March 24, 1944, Roosevelt publicly explained the original goal of the United Nations was to protect the Jews. He said, “In one of the blackest crimes of all history — begun by the Nazis … the wholesale systematic murder of the Jews of Europe goes on unabated. … Hundreds of thousands of Jews … are now threatened with annihilation as Hitler’s forces descend. … The United Nations have made it clear that they will pursue the guilty. … All who knowingly take part in the deportation of Jews to their death … are equally guilty with the executioner. … The United Nations are fighting to make a world in which tyranny and aggression cannot exist.”

Roosevelt coined the name “United Nations” for the allied countries fighting together against the National Socialist Workers Party (Nazi) and Nazi anti-Semitism. His most controversial alliance was with the Soviet Union, which, nevertheless Marxist, fought Nazi anti-Semitism and had many Jewish political and military leaders.

However, this alliance supposedly to save the Jews makes no sense when you consider that Roosevelt also wanted no U.S. role in the rescue of Jews from Nazi Germany. According to David S. Wyman, American-Jewish author of the New York Times bestselling 1984 book “The Abandonment of the Jews: America and the Holocaust, 1941-1945,” the Roosevelt administration was aware of Nazi treasures and Jewish suffering from 1941 to 1945, but it ignored the Jews and took excessive care to rescue Nazi treasures.

Wyman’s charge is very simple: Roosevelt knew about the Jewish horrendous plight before and during all the World War 2, but he never intervened. He never ordered the bombing of the railroads that took millions of Jews to death camps. In contrast, his administration worked very hard to save Nazi treasures.

Even though some authors argue that Roosevelt was misled by Marxists, the deeper reality is, according to William T. Still in his book “New World Order,” that “Support for both secret societies and Marxism has run in FDR’s family. His ancestor, Clinton B. Roosevelt, a New York assemblyman, was a noted American Socialist.”

Still says that Roosevelt’s life was marked by socialism and Masonry. It was marked also by a providential death hindering him from hindering the birth of the modern State of Israel.

In the book “Disinformation” (published by WND in 2013), Ion Mihai Pacepa offers his view on a Liberation Theology and Islamic terrorism exclusively created by the KGB and a Nazism and Soviet Marxism as “brothers.”

He offers his view as a former KGB agent today under CIA protection.

As soon as his book was published, I acquired it. Before reading it, I had already published some articles on him. But after reading the book, I was surprised at his exceedingly simplistic conclusions.

Jewish Issue and a Supposed Equality Between Nazism and Soviet Marxism

Pacepa says that Nazism and Soviet Marxism were absolutely similar. In fact, there were similar points but as any historian knows and as every Israel-loving Christian knows, the most important issue in the 2nd World War was the Holocaust that Nazis committed against the Jews, annihilating 6 million of them. In this specific issue, was there equality between Nazism and Soviet Marxism?

What History records is that while the Nazi army annihilated the Jews throughout Europe, the Soviet Union’s Red Army consisted of thousands of Jews, who helped annihilate Nazism. While the Gestapo (the Nazi secret police) relentless persecuted the Jews, NKVD, the KGB predecessor, was founded by the Soviet Jew Genrikh Yagoda, considered the greatest Jewish murderer in the 20th century, according to an Israeli newspaper.

So as far as the 2nd World War Jews are concerned, Nazism and Soviet Marxism were in opposed sides: Nazism was a total enemy of the Jews while the Soviet Marxism was a friend. Even though this in no way excuses the atrocities of the Soviet Union, it freed the first Nazi concentration camp and it was the first nation to acknowledge officially at the United Nations the modern State of Israel in 1948.

Hitler’s anti-Jewish hatred found no match in the Soviet Union, but in a powerful U.S. capitalist of his time.

My article “Hitler’s Strident Anti-Marxism,” based on the views of Henry Ford (a capitalist magnate of the automobile industry) and Hitler, brings literal mentions by them and shows that their hatred of the Soviet Marxism was derived from the fact that the Jews had a certain control of the communist revolution in Russia. Is Liberation Theology a KGB’s Daughter?

In his book Pacepa insists that KGB is the mother of Liberation Theology. But both U.S. and Brazilian Catholics dispute Pacepa. (Brazil is the largest Catholic nation in the world, heavily affected by Liberation Theology.) U.S. Catholic author John L. Allen, of Crux, said:

“Catholic Archbishop Hélder Câmara of Olinda and Recife in Brazil didn’t have to be ‘maneuvered.’ He was already on board with liberation theology before anyone in Moscow knew it was stirring. That’s not to say the KGB didn’t do whatever it could to support leftist movements in Latin America critical of capitalism and the United States. It would be surprising if they hadn’t, given the zero/sum Cold War logic that anything that seemed to hurt one side benefited the other. In that sense, Pacepa is likely correct about the KGB strategy, but may be giving the agency too much credit for its results.”

Helder Camara, who founded the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil and is the patron of the Brazilian Catholic Left, is in process of sainthood in the Vatican.

The Plínio Corrêa de Oliveira Institute, a Brazilian Catholic institution known for its conservative stances, also disputed the exaggerated conclusions in Pacepa’s book, by posting the article titled “Liberation Theology, a KGB Invention? That Is Way Too Simple... ”

To say, as Pacepa said, that the KGB created Liberation Theology equates saying that CIA created the Pentecostal and charismatic movements, even though some very radical Catholics declare just so. During the Cold War, the KGB supported sectors in the Catholic Church connected to Liberation Theology while CIA supported conservative Pentecostal movements that were opposed to Liberation Theology. See my article “The Religious War between CIA and KGB in Latin America.” I have attended Pentecostal and charismatic churches. Does it mean that I am CIA child? By no means.

Prominent Catholic website National Catholic Register, in an article written by the Catholic journalist Victor Gaetan, rebutted Pacepa and his book by showing that there is disinformative content in his declarations. See the article “Disinformation” and a Dubious Source.

Catholic theologian Malachi Martin shows several Catholic ecclesiastical leaders who, before the KGB’s birth, promoted Liberation Theology.

The big challenge, therefore, is to read Pacepa’s book knowing how to distinguish between what is real and imaginary, filtrating what seems showy and impossible to prove. It is suspicious, for example, the fact that Pacepa is praised by CIA — a praise cheerfully recorded in his book. Opposition to the KGB, for a conservative, does not mean automatic support to CIA. To receive praises from CIA (headed today by a Muslim), or from the KGB, is a disadvantage, making the praised individual worthy of mistrust.

Is Modern Islamic Terror a KGB Creation?

According to information from WND itself, which published originally the Pacepa book, the U.S. government secretly sent many supplies of weapons to Syrian rebels (largely Islamic terrorists connected to al-Qaeda) who have been raping, torturing and slaughtering Christians in Syria. CIA played a major role in this scheme. In fact, WND accuses Hillary Clinton of having helped create ISIS, which has slaughtered thousands of Christians in the Middle East.

Besides, it is known that CIA gave billions of dollars to create al-Qaeda in the late 1970s, in a scheme to strengthen and use Islamic terror to overturn the Soviet Union. But the scheme was turned upside down when one of the CIA Islamic agents, Saudi Osama bin Laden, for some reason rebelled himself against the U.S. CIA and its former agent played a crucial role in the strengthening of the modern Islamic terror. But Pacepa seems to ignore all of this, even though he presents himself as an expert on Islamic terror. He insists in attributing 100 percent blame on the KGB.

Pacepa, who supposedly occupied so prominent post in the KGB that it allowed him to know at length the CIA involvement in the fomentation of the international Islamic terror, in his book he pretends that he has no such knowledge, or he hides it in order to be in the favor and privileges of CIA.

I examined his book “Disinformation” and I did not find any criticism of CIA and no mention of the fact that CIA had and has undeniable participation in the modern Islamic terror. In fact, the current CIA director is a Muslim, having converted to this murderous religion when he was in Saudi Arabia. Even so, to CIA Pacepa has in store only praises; to the KGB, criticism. Why not, for fairness, criticize both?

In “Disinformation,” Pacepa tells that his protection, identity and other personal issues are under CIA responsibility. The introduction of his book was written by James Woolsey, a former CIA director. In this point, some could question if the Pacepa book denounces disinformation or is a tool of disinformation.

By following his own exaggerated conclusions, Pacepa has more than enough reasons to say that the U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump is a “KGB agent.”

In fact, a former CIA director has said just so. He also said that he is going to vote for pro-Islam Hillary Clinton and he praised the fact that since 9/11 the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center was headed by a Muslim for over ten years. The current CIA director is Muslim. Former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, also a former CIA director, said that he is going to vote for Hillary.

If this scandal were connected to KGB, Pacepa would be exposing it and yelling.

Why his silence?

Brazilian State Legislature of Pernambuco Establishes Memorial Day of Jewish Victims of the Inquisition

The Sephardic Association in Pernambuco, Brazil, announces that state Law 15.871 has been enacted. Authored by State Representative Joel da Harpa (PTN-PE), it establishes in the official calendar in the state of Pernambuco March 31st as Memorial Day of Jewish Victims of the Inquisition.

This was a historic victory, which will honor our Jewish ancestors who were victims for more than 300 years of religious persecution in Brazil.

“May this day be a landmark in our history, and may we annually remember Sephardic Jews who came to Pernambuco and here built their families and, resiliently, resisted all kinds of oppression, remaking a different way of keeping themselves Jews (through Crypto-Judaism), and making possible for us today to recover our roots! And may this day be also a day to fight all forms of religious intolerance.”
